The Kindness of Strangers

Standard

A long while ago, I signed up for a pay it forward over on Feel Good Knitting. I am ashamed to say that I got my handmade gift in the mail several weeks ago. Of course, life suddenly got incredibly busy, and I completely forgot to do anything about it. Not only did I throw away the package with the return address (no thank you note!), but I didn’t even blog my thanks. Now that is something that would have my mother’s head shaking. So, without further ado, here’s my thank you note!

She has combed through past posts, and found a review I had done for one of my Interweave Mag’s. She made me a Greta Headband! It’s so cute.

Of course, I lost the note she included with the yarn, but I’m pretty sure it was a linen blend. I’ve never worked with linen before- cotton is hard enough on my hands, so I mainly stick with more animal-based blends. So it’s nice to have something different!

Once again, thank you so much. I can’t tell you how much it means to know that someone, somewhere out there is rooting for me, even though we’ve never met. Knitters really are the best!

  1. It was me. Glad you like it. I was a little worried that the package got lost.

To answer your question, the yarn is Rowan Creative Linen, so a 50/50 cotton/linen blend
