Slow Going

Standard

I don’t really have much to say today. I’ve been working on the button band/shawl collar for my Locke Cardigan, but it’s slow going. Those long rows can take FOREVER.

I’m also just jumping in to the finals craze, so I don’t have a ton of time for knitting or, you know, blogging. So, just be prepared. Blogging might get irregular, or you know, stop. Just look for a couple of these super-short posts in your future! Until next time.

  1. Hopefully knitting helps balance school stresses. When I was in grad school and had three 3-hour seminars per week, I learned I could knit a sock in one 3-hour seminar. Socks, I thought, were perfect to bring to kni: a small project and, knit with wooden sock needles, did not make much noise. Guess what my friends all got for birthday presents for a couple of years? πŸ™‚ Then as a college professor, students saw me knitting on campus and asked me to give some knitting lessons – which I did!

  2. I will prepare myself to be sad that you won’t be posting as often as I like. πŸ™‚ I really can’t imagine that you have as much time as you do for knitting with all your school work.
