Give-Aways Galore!

Standard

I’m not feeling very well today, so I thought I would just write a quick update about some awesome giveaways going on around the knitting blog-world.

First, fernknits is giving away a copy of either of her two newest patterns: the Botanical Doubleknit Capelet or the Zest Cardigan. The Botanical Capelet is a colorwork/doubleknit/mecca of awesomeness and perfect for the more…adventurous of you out there! The Zest Cardigan is an openwork, lacey cardigan that is done up in fingering weight. I may or may not have been browsing around for a light weight transitional cardigan pattern…I’ve already won my copy of the Zest Cardigan pattern, so head over to her blog and leave a comment on this post for a chance to win your own!

Over on the knitty blog they are giving away a brand spanking new Tom Bihn knitting bag. It looks rugged, stylish, and perfect for toting around your knitting. I don’t think any wayward sock needles could sneak out and poke me from that!

Tink, the Master of a Thousand Things, is celebrating her one year blogoversery. Congrats to Tink! She’s giving away a beautiful skein of Candy Skein Yummy- your choice of colorway and weight- to one lucky commenter. She has a great post about how Tami, the dyer behind Candy Skein, was the first knitting blogger that she encountered when she entered the big bad world of knitting bloggers.

Finally, one of my favorite podcasts, A Playful Day, is doing a HUGE giveaway. I am not above saying that the real reason for this post is for another entry into her contest. Her prizes are literally out of this world. There are a ton of indie design patterns, skeins of beautiful British (as in not available in the US without HUGE shipping fees) hand-dyed yarn, and a bunch of other goodies. I highly encourage you to stop by this post and check out everything she’s offering. While your there, listen to a few of her episodes- you’ll be glad you did!
